FEATURE: Online Custom Shirt Reviews

indiTailored

Shirtmaker: indiTailored

Shirt Ordered: Red/Navy Blue Check

Thread Count: 80

Made in: Honduras

Price (including shipping): $125

Fit:
* Sleeves 1" too short
* Collar 1" too big

Pros:
* Exceptionally easy shirt customization and ordering process
* Fun tone and style that carries over to the shirt itself. Ours had a sewn interior placket tag that said, "If two wrongs don't make a right, try three."

Cons: Fused collars combined with casual fabrics

Nota Bene: This was the only shirt of the bunch not made at least partially in the Far East.

Ideal Customer: Online custom shirt newbies who want the easiest possible ordering experience without sacrificing access to a wide range of fabrics/styles.

Tasting Notes: We loved the tone of IndiTailored's website, and we liked the ordering process. With custom shirts, though, it all comes down to fit, and the shirt we ordered did not fit us well. indiTailored does offer a "Re-order" service that allows you to return a shirt with specific instructions on how to tweak it (i.e., "Make the sleeves an inch longer...") and they will cover the return shipping. We'll be taking them up on it.

Sazerac

  • 3 shots rye whiskey (or to taste)
  • 1 sugar cube
  • Peychaud's Bitters
  • quarter shot of Absinthe
  • lemon twist

Soak the sugar cube with the bitters and place in the bottom of a highball glass. Mash with the back of a spoon (or muddler, which we hope has not been used to make a Mojito), add the rye whiskey and fill the glass with ice. Stir for about 30 seconds and then strain into another lowball glass that has been rinsed with Absinthe and filled about halfway with ice. Garnish with a lemon twist.
